Thank you that’s good to know, there’s always a danger of lapsing into pure cliche in these matters 🙂 In terms of authenticity what I find works is to not put up any filters when writing the music and don’t try and second guess how something should sound, because then you’re not being honest. Honesty generally equals authenticity
