We were looking for new tenants for this gorgeous Welsh mountain farm this week so that they can help us restore the habitats and make more space for nature. I got to spend time looking at the rare plants, which made me forget about the rain.
Ah, a seedhead then. I found it’s also native to Illinois. I’ll have to see if there’s any around here. I’ve always found sedges rather interesting. π
Lovely moody photo there!
Carol.
How enjoyable! Thank you for sharing this impression with us, Mike!
Much Love,

What a beautiful place to spend some time.
It was nice work, better than being in the office! Thanks Anneli π
That’s for sure!! Any time!
Lots of farms here in Illinois but no beautiful mountains like in your photo. Thanks for sharing the photo!
Illinois is beautiful though, I remember it fondly from travels past, thanks for your comment π
Beautiful! Sounds like a great way to while away some time, rain or shine. What are the white flowers?
Yes it was nice work can’t complain. The white flowers are bog cotton grass growing in wet heath
