Just back from a great road trip around the Mid-West USA. Amazing contrasts in landscapes and weather. The Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming was beautiful, cold (snowing at times), remote, haunting…hiking in the land of the Grizzly Bear and the Mountain Lion focusses the mind somewhat, but it gives the land a wildness that I love.

That is amazing country! I was a child (looooong time ago) when I first saw those mountains. I think I was struck dumb with awe. Great photos. 🙂
Me too, struck dumb with awe. I confess I nearly shed a tear when it was time to leave, there’s something about those teton mountains that gets me going!
