About Mike Howe

I am an ecologist and a composer of guitar based instrumental melodies signed to the Real Music label in California. I like to write about my work, music and nature conservation and how it all comes together. I try not to write about things I don't know much about.

Wonderful composition Mike – I am talking about your approaching storm photo and “clouds” track. Sometimes when I need inspiration for taking photos I listen to music πŸ™‚

What a gorgeous image Mike! It is never fun to encounter a lightning storm while on the trail. We did so hiking the tallest peak in AZ several years ago and found many women whose hair was literally standing on end with all the static electricity in the air. We couldn’t get down off the mountain fast enough.

Remarkable landscape weather and colours, Mike. Great motive ❀

  4. Lovely. And too bad the storm missed you. Storms in the desert are amazing!
